In 2008, Hawaii became the first state in North America to require solar hot water heaters installed on every new home. By 2030, the Hawaiian Clean Energy initiative's goal is to make Hawaii’s small islands use 100 percent renewable energy. The goal for the five major islands is to reduce petroleum by 72 percent.
Hawaii is currently ranked 2nd for installed solar power per capita and has increased by 48% in 2009 (http://www.solar-hawaii.org/hi-solar-news/)

I want to commend Phil Anderson for the prompt and courteous attention he provided us during the installation and turn-on of our photovoltaic system we recently acquired through **Islandwide** Solar and **SunRun**. Phil was always extremely prompt in returning our phone calls and emails--always with accurate and complete information and follow-up. In addition, when we were off-island during the final wrap-up and turn-on of the system, Phil went to our site several times to take photos of the system's meter, as well as the **KIUC** meters, both old and new.
All of your employees were very prompt, courteous, and tidy, but Phil's efforts were the most noteworthy. He is a great asset to your company.

I'm really impressed with your Company. Everyone I met was going 120mph and knew what they were doing. It is rare to see production going along that slick

All the workers and employees were great. There were some time restraints outside of Islandwide s hands but we are very happy with our system. I am a jack-of-all-trades and a master of none so I would inspect everything; they were very receptive of any of my critiques. We were comfortable with the entire staff at Islandwide from the get go. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction; their reputation superseded shopping around.

Islandwide Solar was fantastic! They told me what I was getting and delivered on all the promises made. Highly recommended. I wanted to put solar on my home because I financing they offered and for the environment.

I was tired of paying such a high rate each month [for electricity] and putting solar on my home is the responsible thing to do. I think Jeremy did a great job of explaining the SunRun program for those of us that don’t have a lot to spend all at once and he was very clear. I would say that Islandwide solar offered the best rated solar panels.
